KJ Bradford
I hold my hopes and dreams as an author in the bags under my eyes.
KJ Bradford is a creator of worlds, living in Kentucky with her husband, daughter, and zoo of pets. She loves reading, cats, flowers, anime, and writing, but maybe not in that order. She’s an awkward little dragon who either holes up in her writing cave or talks about her current obsession to anyone who will listen, with no in-between. Multiple stories are playing out in her head at all times and writing has become her solace as well as her entire personality. Her writing can be described as dark and swoony, gritty and fantastical. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s taking care of her amazing family while thinking about writing.

KJ Bradford's Books
I currently have two different series. The Library of Solaris only has one book out so far. The next book released in this series will be a prequel, introducing a new character. This can be read before or after Legends of Ravens.
The Enchanted Forest series has a two interconnected standalones out and my next two releases will both be from this series. This series can be read in any order.
All my books are fantasy ranging from dark epic fantasical stories ripe with political and court intrigue to contemporary tales similar to the works of Holly Black. The one thing they all have in common is centering a Black or mixed woman.

Coming June 5th
The Magicless Elf is the newest installment to The Enchanted Forest series.
As the only magicless elf, Starwynn Edahlia goes to drastic lengths to understand where magic comes from. After experimenting on other elves, she’s banished from the only home she’s ever known. Without the magic to call herself a proper elf, but too otherworldly to fit in with humans, Starwynn is forced on a journey to find a way to get magic, but perhaps the thing to fix her isn’t magic at all. The Magicless Elf is written almost entirely in an epistolary narrative and is great for fans of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and Frankenstein. Signed copies will be available soon and will come with a bookmark, sticker, and art print. If preorder goals are reached, it will come with an additional art print.
